My wife and I and our two grown up daughters stayed in Maxi3 villa. We found the villa very comfortable and homely with everything you need - good showers, (two bathrooms very handy), good towels, comfortable beds and excellent wifi. The kitchen is small but works well and we cooked most meals on the barbecue on the terrace overlooking the sea. We particularly liked the second fridge on the terrace which was soon filled with excellent corsican beer and very good local rose wine. Most essentials like tea, coffee, salt pepper etc. barbecue fuel, matches etc.were left in the villa so we could prepare food immediately and replenish them later. The location is excellent with good views of the sea and a lovely sandy beach visible from the terrace and less than three minutes walk along a path down the hill. There are shops. restaurant, boat hire etc at the marina about 10 minutes walk along the beach. We also found the location handy for visiting other nearby places such as Calvi, L'isle Rousse, St Florence and further afield Corte and Porto which were less than two hours drive away. We all enjoyed our holiday very much and highly recommend the villa. We were slightly concerned in advance about parking our hired car in a car park about 50 yards from the villa but this was never a problem. We always found a space and had no problems whatsoever with this.

MAXI VILLA 3

Corsica has been on our bucket list for a long time and we came across this Villa by chance.

There are a two villas, Maxi 3 and Mini 4 sited on a small development in Marina de San Ambroggio on the North west coast between Cavli and L'Ile Rousse.

They are within 2 minutes stroll of a beautiful, sandy beach with good access into a warm Meditereanean Sea.

5-10 minutes walk to the Port where there is a baker, butcher, snack bar, wine shop, supermarket and an excellent restaurant.

The villa is extremely well equipped even including a salad spinner and garlic crusher.

Both the house and beach towels are plentiful and of good quality. As an added bonus the owners provide beach chairs, parasols, beach mats and equipment for children.

The villa is very comfortable with powerful showers, quiet air conditioning, dish washer and washing machine. When we arrived there were cleaning products available which visitors can use but replace when finished. The outside furniture is excellent and with both shaded and sunny areas which we used constantly.

It is obvious that this is the owners' home as well as a holiday let, they have thought of everything.

Daphne and her son were delightful and helpful and we have no hesitation in recommending this property.

We stayed in mini villa in June 2016 and it was perfect for 2 people. The villa was comfortable and equipped with everything you need, but really it's all about outside living here, with the wonderful views from the terrace. Nice safe/clean beach and I spent many lazy hours on it whilst my husband went hiking in the mountains. The train to Calvi is a must. We've already booked for our return!

Just back from a stay at No. 3 Piazze on the beautiful island of Corsica.
Everything you could possibly wish for and the views over the bay from the patio are stunning.
Mountains and beautiful beaches all in easy reach, a perfect holiday.
Thank you Daphne.

Finding the property was very straight forward, internally it was very clean and really had everything you would want and more for a brilliant holiday. Great sea views which I Literally took 2 minutes to get to, we made good use of the terraces though for sunbathing. Kitchen had everything we needed, although we did very little cooking as the local cuisine was fantastic. British TV was an unexpected pleasure, which really was reliable..as was the broadband. In summary - comfortable and homely!!!

Booked a week in the smaller of the two apartments because it fitted the criteria we look for - mainly not in a large faceless block of rooms where you are told when to eat, sleep and sunbathe! It was only the two of us and the apartment was perfect. It could not have been better equipped even down to labels warning you that the door on the dishwasher was slightly stiff. Loads of storage space for clothes and the bed had a enough space underneath to store both our large suitcases and our small hand luggage. Directions were easy to follow and parking was only a couple of minutes away. Locally there were a couple of small shops for day to day needs but there was a large supermarket fairly close by but you need a car. The restaurant in the bay was surprisingly busy for out of season but they only offered a limited menu which was understandable. Enjoyed a couple of meals there and would recommend to anyone visiting. Ventured to Calvi on the train - be aware the railway station is a request stop so ensure you make the ticket inspector you wish to stop there when you return. The roads are an experience and a half, if you venture to the countryside take your time and enjoy the scenery and beware of the sharp corners. Visited the villages in the hills, Sant Antonino on Saturday for a meal. The restaurants at the bottom closed at about 12.30 but the one at the top was open and was well worth the walk - the waiter was helpful, the food was well-priced and the views were stunning - hills to one side and clear blue skies and sea to the other. We had read a few reviews saying that it was over-priced and relied on the views for business but we didn't think this. If you want to take some long-lasting memories home with you then visit this restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime. The way of life is far slower than we are used to in the UK but sit back, enjoy a coffee (possibly with a large ice cream or sorbet with a shot of vodka!) and relax. Back to the villa - thank you for supplying everything we could want even down to beach mats and swimming goggles in the outside beach cupboard.

What a wonderful place! Everything you could possibly need is here - the villa is so well equipped it's like a home from home - even including two en suite bathrooms. To sit on the terrace with a glass of chilled Corsican wine watching the sun go down over the magnificent bay - the perfect spot on this beautiful island to spend two weeks in the sun and on the beach.
